AJIST TZ['24 MODEL]

The AJIST TZ series undergoes a renewal, emphasizing “clear sensitivity”.

The rod features a super high-elasticity carbon blank blended with 40t carbon in a high ratio, coupled with a 30t carbon solid tip that balances high bite sensitivity and flexibility for effective hooksets. Crafted with refined design and components, this high-end class ajing-dedicated rod prioritizes the most crucial aspect in ajing – 'sensitivity,' aiming to provide a clearer perception. The guides set on the blank, designed to capture sensitivity sharply, adopt Fuji's lightest titanium frame with Torzite rings. Furthermore, by further reducing the parts around the grip area from the previous series, we have successfully achieved an average weight reduction of approximately 25% (※ compared at equivalent lengths). Additionally, the incorporation of the “Feedback Booster Technology,” featuring a hole at the butt end, amplifies the sensitivity captured throughout the entire rod. This technology enhances the already clear sensitivity achieved in the previous model.

    While maintaining clear sensitivity, the 30t carbon solid tip offers high flexibility without bouncing off bites. The 56/SL and 60/SL models, being conscious of close-distance fishing, feature a longer solid tip (total length 380mm). Conversely, for the 66/SL and 70/SL models, where long-distance fishing is more frequent, a shorter solid tip (total length 260mm) is incorporated.

    Utilizing the lightweight and high-strength material Kevlar®, which possesses five times the strength of steel on a weight basis and is commonly used in products such as military helmets and bulletproof vests, the composite material extends from the butt to the grip section. Kevlar® fiber boasts low stretch and excellent impact resistance, maintaining a responsive feel while successfully reducing the rod’s torsion and compression.

    While incorporating metal parts throughout to maintain the identity of the TZ series, the reel seat is formed with a DPS + carbon pipe. By setting its overall length to the shortest possible, the new series achieves an average weight reduction of approximately 25% compared to the previous series (* compared at equivalent lengths).
